Every year, NAIFA members travel to Washington, D.C., for one of the most important events of the year - the Congressional Conference. They show up personally to advocate for the clients, communities, and small businesses they serve every day.

The 2026 nomination period for many of NAIFA’s national awards is officially underway, with applications being accepted through June 30.

These awards honor professionals who demonstrate excellence in leadership, advocacy, service, education, and professional achievement. Opportunities for recognition span a wide range of categories, including practice specialties, years of industry service, and volunteer leadership within NAIFA.

The awards differentiate NAIFA members with national recognition that not only highlights individual accomplishments but also showcases the strength, professionalism, and influence of NAIFA-Wyoming members across our industry.

While we are in full planning mode for 2025, the NAIFA-South Dakota chapter has graciously extended an invitation for all Wyoming members to attend their fall conference in Deadwood, South Dakota. Please consider the opportunity to gather with NAIFA colleagues from South Dakota and beyond.

The NAIFA-Wyoming Board of Directors has approved a limited number of travel stipends for those attending Apex and the National Leadership Conference in Phoenix on September 19-21. Apex is offering an exceptional line-up of speakers, and the National Leadership Conference (scattered throughout the 3 days) will include insightful sessions for state Chapter Leaders as well as those interested in becoming more involved. The conference will close with the Belong Gala event on Saturday night where we celebrate the successes of 2024 and look toward the future of 2025.
